Our Founder:M.Ali DURAK

- HISTORY - In 1960s, Durak marked products were presented to the Turkish marketplace for the first time by Mehmet Ali DURAK who is the founder of our company. Until 1988, our company operated under its own name with the legal entities namely, Mehmet Ali Durak ve Halefleri Kollektif Şirketi and Durak Gıda Maddeleri ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti.  Since 1988, we have been continuing our activities under the name of DURAK FINDIK SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş.

1988

Durak Fındık Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. started its activities with an head office in İstanbul and a factory in Ünye.

 

1991

To compansate the demand of our customers and to increase our production capacity, we opened our second factory in Terme.
 

1996

Our head office moved to the address, Levent Caddesi Krizantem Sok. No:96 Levent/İstanbul.
 

2001

We established our third plant on 09.01.2001, in Hendek town of Sakarya to increase the product assortment by producing Akcakoca quality in-shell hazelnuts.
 

2004

   We have implemented  the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and had a right to hold the ISO 9001:2000  Quality certificate.

 

2006

   We bought the hazelnut processing plant of Cargill -one of the pioneer firms in international food sector- and started to produce high quality processed hazelnuts in Hendek/Adapazarı.
